Glamorama is an annual Chicago & Minneapolis fashion event, attracting top American designers and celebrities. The high-profile fashion show, which originated with Marshall Field's, has been adopted as one of the signature events of Macy's.
The 2008 event took place on August 15 in Minneapolis and August 22 in Chicago and featured Cyndi Lauper and MC Hammer in a 1980s-themed fashion show in aid of the Children's Cancer Research Fund and the Art Institute of Chicago.
